A short walk from the house through sand dunes leads you to Pennington Bay; one of the most spectacular beaches on Kangaroo Island. Whether you are a surfer, fisher, or just enjoy walking on pristine white sand, Pennington Bay is the perfect location.
Conveniently located a 20-minute drive from the Penneshaw ferry terminal and 40 minutes from Kingscote Airport, this family-friendly accommodation is fully self-sufficient. Powered by a comprehensive solar system, with back-up generator, modern luxuries are not compromised, yet with an environmentally sustainable footprint.

This family-friendly accommodation comprises of:

well-equipped kitchen (there is an outside BBQ, and inside stove top and microwave, although no oven);

a comfortable lounge room; and

free, high-speed wifi.
This retreat is fully self-sufficient, with solar power (with back-up battery). It has been running successfully as a Home Away Stayz holiday rental for many years, and we would love to welcome you during your next Kangaroo Island holiday!

Amazing location, the place has everything we need including amazing views, wallabies grazing around the property and a secret viewing deck which provided a different view of the Bay!! Fantastic communication by the host and they even made up a port-a-cot for our 7-month-old. Would highly recommend and we look forward to returning again.

Allure is an amazing property with an ideal location. It is very clean and very comfortable and allows you to feel at home away from home. You feel you have the island to yourself and after a busy day’s travel you can relax into the surroundings. Warm fires, great vistas, ambience for days on end, and wildlife abounds. We loved it and our kids loved it too. Thank you, Allure for making the end of our travels an absolute delight.

A lovely, isolated property truly embedded in the wilderness of Kangaroo Island. There is good WIFI connectivity, the cooking is a little restricted because of the reliance on solar power, so there's a gas stove but no oven. Otherwise, all comforts of modern life are there. The payoff is a magnificent outlook onto the southern coast, and a wildlife-filled garden that was a bird-watcher's dream!

This property is idyllic, tucked away up a track with 50 acres of land. The house has beautiful views to the sea and a private track to an almost deserted beach. The deck round the property means there are places to sit in or out of the sun. We particularly enjoyed the water bowl which attracted lots of different birds and kangaroos and wallabies in the evening. I highly recommend.
